P.T. mod lets you explore the Silent Hills street - connhimmenting
Modder Lance McDonald worked out how to break out of the firm in P.T. to search the streets of Silent Hills that are shown in the final cinematic (via Eurogamer).
McDonald's at it again with his lively trickery within the bound of P.T.—he previously discovered that the eery Lisa is a very literal hanger-connected and that the player is playing A Norman Reedus. P.T. and Mute Hills ingest been laid to respite as a result of the Konami and Hideo Kojima fallout, but information technology's incredible that it still captures our fascinations five geezerhood on from the original demo.
Now, we're competent to catch a glimpse of what Silent Hills could have been. To achieve this, McDonald joined P.T.'s starting room to the map file of the surround seen in the last cinematic—wherein Norman Reedus wanders an empty street. Because players were never intended to be here, there is no collision, and so Average falls through the mapping. That triggers a jumpscare from Lisa and sends the thespian back to the beginning, which is theorised to be a fix for players accidentally walking out of bounds in the hallways.
She does the jumpscare whatsoever time you mess with the player location without applying a extraordinary fix to make the game think back you'rhenium silence on the ground, information technology's ticklish to predict and I screamed multiple times patc getting a few of the disk overhead camera shots for the TV

McDonald bypassed this by making the actor float, and so he was able to stroll the streets of Soundless Hills with a pep in his step. And so to talk. As for the town, there's a detailed surface area outside of peerless of the apartments, with a potted plant on the fire escape stairs, insinuating that the player may have visited various residences in their journey. Information technology's surely spooky and suffocating with its fuddle and towering simply dilapidated buildings. The environment may have entirely been used for the cinematic, but IT's an intriguing artefact along what Kojima's take on Dumb Hill might feature become.
P.T.
A 'playable tormenter' for Konami's riposte to Silent Pitcher's mound.
